Update 1: Dimensional Portals


Hello. This will be the first logged update of the game.

The past few days have been a bit hectic. Many features have been added to the game. First are the passive skills. There have been over 5 skills added to the game within the past week, along with the animations related to them being implimented. It's easier to animate a skill than it is to create it, as skills require a lot of work, and complete changes to the way the code have been previously written in order to make them work.


Some skills are easy to impliment, while others require the entire game to change, in order to add its features. I've had to make those drastic changes a couple times this week, so I hope the game still functions as intended. They do from my end, but only a long period of time, and tweaking can fully correct any issues that may have been missed.


Dimensional Portals Update:

I've recently also added the map portal system into the game recently. It allow players to enter different versions of the starting map, each with different difficulties, from stage 1 of the map to stage 5. I also then decided to add another feature to these map stages called ranks, that allow you to increase the damage dealt by monsters within the map, as well as the experience gained from killing monsters. So not only does the game now have map stages, with increasing diffculties, each map stage's difficulty can be further increased by leveling up their ranks. 


Entering a different map, other than the starting map, after gathering its required resources grants you temporary access to the map. After you exit the map for any reason, when you press play, in the game's main menu page, you'll return to the original map of the game. Without the abilty to go back to the map you just exited, unless you re-gather its required resources again.


There are many more features that will slowly be added to the game, including more maps, player armour, active, and passive skills, potions, pets and more. In the future I may decide to add a cryptocurrency aspect to the game as well, but that's not really a priority until the other mandatory features of the game are finished.
